Brady (Brandon) Jones, J.D.
Founder and Managing Partner
Brady founded BJRC Recruiting. He is a former practicing lawyer, now dedicated to recruiting legal and compliance professionals. With over 8 years of private practice experience, Brady is able to provide valuable insights to his clients and candidates. Brady has quickly earned a reputation for unrivaled service and professionalism. He provides a consultative approach to every search. A great deal of time is spent with his clients, so that he can properly understand the organization, its culture and its talent acquisition need. He is able to utilize his legal background to ask the right questions and ensure that only the best candidates for the position are proposed to his clients.
Brady was called to the Ontario Bar in 2009 and the New York State Bar in 2010 and is a member of the Ontario Bar Association, Canadian Bar Association and formerly the New York State Bar Association. Brady spent the majority of his legal career in mid-sized Bay Street firms.
Brady completed his undergraduate degree at the University of Western Ontario and received his Juris Doctor (J.D.) from Bond University in Queensland, Australia. He also attended exchange programs at the East China University of Politics and Law in Shanghai, China (2006) and Leiden University, The Netherlands (2007).
Brady is an avid cyclist, golfer, squash player, hockey player, and most importantly, husband and father to two kids.

Patrick Johnson
Managing Partner
Patrick is a Managing Partner at BJRC Recruiting. His recruitment practice focuses on Finance & Accounting professionals within a wide range of industries. Prior to his career in recruitment, he spent 10 years working in Corporate Strategy at two large Pension Funds. While at OMERS and HOOPP Patrick was responsible for building out Finance & Accounting teams and for collaborating with various business lines. These experiences within industry helps Patrick provide valuable insights to his clients and candidates.
Patrick has quickly earned a reputation for going above and beyond for his clients. Patrick combines strong relationships with candidates and market knowledge to deliver the best solution for his clients. His persistence and commitment to finding the right fit has resulted in many long-term clients. Patrick enjoys "being a strategic partner to his clients."
Patrick completed his undergraduate degree at Queen’s University and Master’s from the University of Wales.
In his free time Patrick enjoys running, squash, and early morning workouts. This has taken a backseat to his favourite hobby spending quality time with his wife and wonderful daughters.

Neda Canario
Vice President, Legal Recruitment
Toronto & Montréal Office
Neda is a Vice President of Legal Recruitment at BJRC Recruiting. She manages all aspects of the executive legal search process for law firms and in-house legal departments across Canada.
Prior to joining BJRC Recruiting, Neda managed the Associate and Student Programs for the Canadian offices of one of the largest law firms in the world, where she led recruitment, talent management and professional development initiatives. Prior to this role, Neda worked as Legal Counsel at a national Canadian telecommunications company, and as an Associate at a Seven Sister firm in Toronto.
Neda brings a unique perspective to her clients’ recruitment needs thanks to her past experience as a private practice lawyer, as in-house legal counsel and as an internal legal recruiter. She is able to efficiently identify top talent for clients, as well as assist candidates in determining the next steps in their careers. She is bilingual and has worked with clients all across Canada, including Québec.
Neda holds a J.D. from Osgoode Hall Law School and an International B.B.A. from the Schulich School of Business. She was called to the Ontario bar in 2013.
Neda loves to travel and host her friends at her busy home, which she shares with her husband, two human kids and two feline children.

Feven Yeshanew
Director, Canada & US Search
Feven is a Director of Canada and US Search. Feven focuses on Finance & Accounting recruitment across an array of industries. She has over 8 years of experience in recruitment, including executive search for Private Equity and Venture Captial backed tech start-ups and building the Accounting and Finance Recruitment division for a regional arm (GTA) of a large global recruitment agency.
With her exceptional track record and excellent industry knowledge, Feven is dedicated to delivering outstanding results in finance leadership searches and talent acquisition, making her a trusted partner for organisations looking for top-tier finance professionals.
Feven has an Honors Bachelor of Science from McMaster University and further pursued her Masters of Arts, specialising in Learning & Development, at the University of Chester (UK). Her educational background combined with her practical experience positions her as the perfect partner for her clients and candidates.
Outside of work, Feven loves to travel, having visited over 50 countries so far, loves a good red wine, enjoying the simple daily pleasures of having the cutest dog (Archie), and guest-hosts a podcast within the motorsport world.

Zach Foster
Associate Director, Finance & Accounting Recruitment
Zach is an Associate Director of Finance & Accounting Recruitment at BJRC Recruiting. He works with Finance and Accounting hiring managers and candidates across diverse industries, providing a tailored approach to BJRC Recruiting's clients.
Prior to joining BJRC Recruiting, Zach led the US division at a specialized executive search firm. He has over 6 years of Finance and Accounting recruitment experience, working with clients across all industries, with a specific focus on financial services. Zach's exposure to both internal and external search functions has allowed him to work seamlessly across business lines, understanding the unique needs of each party.
Zach holds a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Guelph School of Business and Economics.
Zach is an avid tennis player, an amateur chef, and a proud dad of a rescue puppy, named Dillon.

Andrea is Associate Director, Recruitment at BJRC Recruiting. She manages all aspects of the executive legal/compliance and accounting/finance search process in our Montréal office.
Prior to joining BJRC Recruiting, Andrea managed the Associate and Student Programs at Seven Sister firm in Montréal, where she led recruitment, talent management and professional development initiatives. Prior to this role, Andrea worked in business development at a national Canadian law firm. Andrea holds an LL.B from Université de Montréal.
Andrea's clients benefit from her distinctive approach to recruitment needs, shaped by her extensive experience in law firm recruitment, professional development, and business development. She is able to efficiently identify top talent for clients, as well as guide candidates through pivotal career decisions. Fluent in both English and French, Andrea collaborates with candidates in Quebec and across the nation.

Lucas Severin
Associate Director, Finance and Accounting Recruitment
Lucas is an Associate Director, Finance and Accounting Recruitment at BJRC Recruiting. He leads end-to-end search engagements with a focus in Accounting & Finance across all industries. Before joining BJRC Recruiting, Lucas gained over 6 years of experience in recruitment. He helped scale and develop the Canadian business for a tax executive search firm and was a high-achiever with a large national generalist recruitment firm where he assisted in the development and growth of the permanent search division.
Lucas completed his undergraduate degree at Western University with an Honours Bachelor of Health Science.
Lucas is a former high-level athlete and avid sports fan. He enjoys exercise, travelling and is a proud fur dad to his rescue dog from Texas and rescue cat.

Kaylee Reda
Associate Director, Recruitment Consulting
Kaylee practiced as a Labour & Employment lawyer in downtown Toronto before developing her passion for recruitment. She is now in her element as a Associate Director, Recruitment Consulting. Kaylee specializes in full-cycle recruitment of Finance/Accounting and Legal/Compliance professionals. Her strengths lie in establishing and fostering strong relationships; collaborating with team members to ensure efficient placement and long-term satisfaction of all parties; and liaising between clients and candidates throughout interview, selection, contract negotiation and final placement process.
Kaylee is a licensed lawyer and was called to the Ontario Bar in 2018. She is a member of the Ontario Bar Association and the Canadian Bar Association.
Kaylee completed her undergraduate degree at Western University and obtained her Juris Doctor at Osgoode Hall Law School.
In her free time, Kaylee loves going on hikes, trying new restaurants, and spending time with her nieces and her new puppy, Basil.

Natalie Cordiano
Manager, Legal Recruitment
Natalie is a Manager, Legal Recruitment at BJRC Recruiting. She is involved in all aspects of the search process for legal & compliance as well as finance & accounting professionals.
Prior to joining BJRC Recruiting, Natalie was a Manager and Legal Counsel at Canada's largest real estate investment trust, where she managed the legal aspects of operations, asset management, transactions, leasing, litigation and bankruptcy files. Prior to this role, Natalie was an associate at a national full-service law firm in Toronto in the Commercial Real Estate group.
Natalie brings a unique perspective to her clients' recruitment needs, due in large part to her experience as a private practice lawyer and as legal counsel at a large corporation. Natalie's interpersonal skills allow her to connect with others to ensure the effective placement and satisfaction of both clients and candidates.
Natalie holds a J.D. from Dalhousie University's Schulich School of Law and an undergraduate degree from Queen's University. She was called to the Ontario bar in 2019.
In her spare time, Natalie enjoys traveling, reading, spin and Pilates classes, as well as spending time with her family and friends and her puppy Theo.

Satinder (Sat) Brar
Manager, Legal Recruitment
Sat is a Manager of Legal Recruitment at BJRC Recruiting. He was called to the Ontario Bar in 2014, after graduating with Honours from the University of Leicester.
Prior to joining BJRC Recruiting, Sat was a litigation lawyer practicing in the areas of Civil Litigation and Condominium Law at a boutique litigation firm in downtown Toronto.
Earlier on in his legal career, Sat gained valuable entrepreneurial and client management experience as a sole practitioner and a criminal defence lawyer.
As a Senior Recruitment Consultant at BJRC Recruiting, Sat is responsible for recruiting candidates for clients seeking to hire Legal and Compliance professionals. Sat's background in private practice, experience as a lawyer, and outgoing personality enable him to assist candidates in advancing their careers and providing his clients with experienced professionals.
In his spare time, Sat enjoys spending time with his family and playing team-oriented sports, including hockey and softball.

Edward Cohen
Recruitment Consultant
A former practicing lawyer from England, Ed worked for the international law firm Watson Farley & Williams before joining the team of the US law firm Ropes & Gray.
After a number of years in the industry, Ed adjusted his career path to move into the recruitment space so that he could be dedicated to helping lawyers advance their careers in the Canadian legal market and London, UK market and assist clients in securing the very best talent available in the marketplace.
Through his years of experience, Ed is able to provide insightful, trusted advice to candidates and market intelligence to clients. He has successfully assisted clients in securing exceptional legal talent both domestically in Canada and internationally in London, UK, at a range of levels for both in-house and private practice firms.
He qualified as a lawyer in England & Wales in 2017 and completed his law degree at London University with a 1st Class Honours. Ed then went on to study the coveted BCL master's degree at Brasenose College, Oxford University.
In his spare time, Ed enjoys football (the English kind), travelling, and eating at a good restaurant. Ed's absolute love, however, is his two children.

Annie Oldenhof
Recruitment Analyst
Annie has joined our team as a Recruitment Analyst at BJRC Recruiting. Working alongside the Consultants, Annie's primary role is to ensure all operations run smoothly, assisting with searches, job postings, and liaising with candidates and clients. In her previous role, Annie was a Corporate Recruiter within the childcare sector, where she was responsible for supporting the hiring needs of 120+ daycare centres across the US and Canada.
Excited to be part of the team, Annie can't wait to add to her skills and learn more about the recruitment landscape from her colleagues, experienced former lawyers and executive search professionals.
Annie holds an undergraduate degree in Global Studies from Wilfrid Laurier University and a Masters of Peace & Conflict Studies degree from the University of Waterloo.
Outside of work, you can find Annie thrifting and collecting old vinyl, attending a hot yoga class, or exploring the vibrant city life of Toronto!
